PIL visits the Sudanese Exporters Chamber
As part of its unwavering commitment to supporting the national economy and bolstering the export sector, PIL Shipping Company dispatched Captain Shoaib Khan and Chief Engineer Saifu Luqman Bin Aziz on an official visit to the Sudanese Chamber of Exporters. The purpose of the visit was to review the season‘s arrangements and coordinate on relevant operational requirements.

During the visit, the company affirmed its full readiness to support the export season by providing maritime shipping services, along with a comprehensive suite of shipping, warehousing, and customs clearance services through its specialized subsidiary, PIL Logistics. This support aims to facilitate the flow of exports and enhance the efficiency of supply chains.
In this context, Captain Fadl, General Manager of PIL Shipping Company, emphasized the strategic importance of the export sector, noting that the company serves Sudan’s most important export shipping ports. He also highlighted the company’s continued provision of uninterrupted services, even during the early days of the war, underscoring its national commitment to supporting trade and maritime services. It is worth noting that PIL Shipping has been providing services at Port Sudan since the early 1960s, through its long-standing partnership with the Al-Barbari Group, led by Mr. Mohamed Kamel Al-Barbari. PIL Logistics Services was established in 2014 as a result of this collaboration, with the aim of deepening the company’s role and expanding its contribution to the national economy, particularly the export sector.
